Re: Air fittings for propane?
Thu, April 2, 2009 - 3:33 PMYou'll have to give more details. If you have to ask someone else the safe answer is, no. Use something rated for what you're doing with it. Is this a quick connect type fitting with o-rings? Is it all brass? Is your question about max pressures, thread type, o-ring compatibility?

I've had good luck with this type so far. I do keep a soap bottle to check.

Re: Air fittings for propane?
Thu, April 2, 2009 - 10:50 PMIf you are using them for a BBQ, then they are fine, if you are using them for pyro, keep in mind they bring down the inner diameter, so they will restrict your flowrate.

Re: Air fittings for propane?
Tue, May 5, 2009 - 8:08 PMUse something rated for propane. See your Parker dealer.
There's a lot of things to consider. Inner effective diameter, flow rate, pressure rating, seal materials, body materials, type and redundancy of seal, whether or not the connector is self sealing to environmental contamination upon disconnect. There are a ton of fittings that will work well depending on your specific needs.
